Maurice Lauchner is recognized as one of the most soulful and unique voices in contemporary inspirational music, captivating audiences with his heartfelt sound since his youth. With a classical training background and deep roots in gospel and jazz, Maurice possesses an impressive vocal range and acting skills that have allowed him to share the stage with some of the industry's legends. His performances have resonated with audiences across the U.S., Europe, and Africa. He has also contributed his vocal and acting talents to film and television, appearing in Darrin Henson’s A House Ain’t a Home, Ma’s House (now available on Tubi), The Cosby Show, and Brian Banks. His recent theatrical credits include Palmer Williams’ Get Your House in Order, Tyler Perry’s Madea on the Run, Madea Gets a Job, The Haves & the Have Nots, Aunt Bam’s Place, A Madea Christmas, and Darrin DeWitt Henson’s You Can’t Raise A Man. In addition to his performance career, Maurice is sharing his musical talents and extensive experience in the arts as a vocal coach and mentor through his business, Fine Tune Vocal Coaching LLC, where students are “making music with their voice.”
